WHAT ARE COOKIES USED FOR ?
Cookies are used to remember the information about the user who has visited a website in order to show relevant content in the future. They are used for storing users’ session (after logging in), thanks to this the user does not have to log in on every visit at a website and on each subpage of the service. They help to fill in forms, remember settings on webpage chosen by the user. Cookies are also used for safety reasons, i.e. to track down any forgery or unauthorized trials of authentication within WWW services. They are also used in order to create anonymous statistics of visitors, excluding personal identification of the user (for monitoring activity of visitors).
What cookies do we use on our webpage?
Within our webpage we are using three kinds of cookies: Session cookies, persistent cookies and third party cookies. A user's session Cookie (also known as an in-memory cookie or transient cookie) for a website exists in temporary memory only while the user is reading and navigating the website. Web browsers normally delete session cookies when the user closes the browser. A persistent cookie will outlast user sessions. They are stored for the maximum time set in cookie settings in Web browser by the user.
